Last updated: July 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at MyFixManual (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and all applicable Canadian federal and provincial laws and regulations. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Site complies with all local laws in your province or territory of residence. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence. The content and materials contained in this Site are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws in Canada.

2. Limited Use Licence

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MyFixManual grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to temporarily download and view one copy of the materials (information, guides, or software) on the Site for personal, non-commercial, and transitory viewing purposes only. This is a grant of a licence, not a transfer of title, and under this licence you may not:

  • Modify, adapt, or copy the materials in whole or in part;
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial), without our prior written consent;
  • Attempt to decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any software contained on the Site;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the materials; or
  • Transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server.

This licence shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by MyFixManual at any time with or without notice. Upon termination of this licence, you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials in your possession, whether in electronic or printed format.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The materials and repair guides on MyFixManual’s Site are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any representations, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, MyFixManual expressly disclaims all warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement of intellectual property or other rights.

Further, MyFixManual does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or currency of the repair instructions, technical guides, or any other content on its Site. The technical information provided is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional, certified technical services. Under no circumstances shall MyFixManual be liable for any damage, loss, or injury (including property damage or personal injury) resulting from the use, misuse, or reliance upon any technical guides or repair instructions provided on this website. You assume full responsibility and risk for your use of any information contained on the Site.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MyFixManual, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, or suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or damage to equipment) arising out of the use, inability to use, or performance of the materials on MyFixManual's Site, even if MyFixManual or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. In jurisdictions that do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of certain damages, some of these limitations may not apply to you; however, in no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing this Site.

5. Accuracy of Materials

The materials appearing on MyFixManual's Site may include technical, typographical, photographic, or factual errors. MyFixManual does not warrant that any of the materials on its Site are accurate, complete, or current. MyFixManual reserves the right to make changes to the materials contained on its Site at any time without notice, but does not make any commitment to update the materials, except as required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

6. Third-Party Links

MyFixManual has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Site and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any such linked sites. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by MyFixManual of the third-party site. Your use of any such linked website is solely at your own risk, and we recommend you review the terms and policies of those third parties.

7. Modifications to Terms

MyFixManual reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revise, update, or replace these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The most current version of these Terms will be posted on this page. By continuing to use this Site after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of the Site shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, you irrevocably attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, sitting in the City of Toronto, and waive any objection to the venue or jurisdiction of such courts.

9. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable Canadian law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect and binding upon the parties.

10. Waiver

No failure or delay by MyFixManual in exercising any right, power, or remedy under these Terms shall operate as a waiver thereof, nor shall any single or partial exercise of any right, power, or remedy preclude any other or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any other right, power, or remedy.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyFixManual with respect to your use of the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter hereof.

Note: If you are a resident of the Province of Quebec, the civil law provisions of that province may apply to specific consumer rights; however, the governing law and jurisdiction provisions shall remain as specified above to the fullest extent permitted by law.
